• Bert Rein and Andrew McBride Receive 2013 “Lawyer of the Year” Honor from Best Lawyers

  Founding partner Bert W. Rein and Communications Litigation chair Andrew G. • Matthew Dowd Receives FCBA's 2012 Pro Bono Leadership and Committee Individual Leadership Awards

  Matthew J.   Wiley Rein Communications Practice attorney Edgar Class was featured in the Member Spotlight section of the Hispanic Bar Association of DC's newsletter based on his success at the firm and his professional development work.  Mr. Class was noted for his leadership in serving as co-chair of the committee responsible for overseeing the Federal Communications Bar Association's Federal Communications Law Journal, and also as chair of the HBA-DC's Professional Development Committee.   Law360 has recognized Wiley Rein's Government Contracts, Insurance and International Trade Practices as being among the nation's best in 2011.  These "Groups of the Year" honors are based on each practice's notable work and significant litigation matters over the past twelve months.

• Helgi Walker Named by The American Lawyer As Its "Litigator of the Week"

  Helgi C. • Richard E. Wiley Inducted Into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame

  Wiley Rein managing partner Richard E. Wiley was inducted into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame during an awards dinner in Phoenix, AZ on October 20. Wiley, a former chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), received the honor for his "pivotal role in the development of HDTV" and "serving as Chairman of the FCC's Advisory Committee on Advanced Television Service for nine years." • Rand L. Allen Recognized as Legal Times "Visionary"

  Legal Times has named Rand L.
